Fi (United Press Sports Editor) NEW YORK, Nov. 16.—(United Press) —With some of the major teams going out under heavy fire and others easing up in preparation for next week’s assault, tomor row’s football schedule is very unevenly balanced. Yale, Penn State, Penn, Washington and Jefferson, Colgate and Syracuse have heavy engagements in the east, and Michigan and Wisconsin go into big battle in the middle west, but the rest of the schedule is rather mild. Yale and Princeton engage in the gecond conflict of the “Big Three” champions, a game that will be at least the biggest spectacle of the Gay. Yale has been waiting tmpatiently for more than three years for a team that would be able to bring Yale out of the hole and the Elis are looking to “Memphis ‘s eleven to do the trick this year. ¥ Despite the loss of Charley O’- Hearn, around whom the entire Ya offense has been & he Yale eleven looks to be a better team than those of the last two years and on the other hand, Princeton is not as powerful The gameness of the Tiger eleven and the alertness of the team which has become traditional Nassau will be sure to give Yale @ fight from whistle to w Penn State and Pennsylvania, two one of the in the new 1 provide day ol4 rivals, w best games Pennsylvania x has a MsAs ican Harry W!'son, and a team of the well-known Bezdek thoroughtess and even the improved Penn eleven will have a terrific fight to beat the State eleven. CASPER HIGH SECOND TEAM TO PLAY WHEATLAND HERE FRIDAY Tomorrow efternoon at the high school athletic field the second team will meet the football team of the Wheatland high school while the first team is battling with Riverton on the Fremont county gridiron. The game here promises to be a good one as the field has dried up and the players have recuperated from their strenuous three games in two days last week-end. Coach Gill will use almost the same line- up as last week. The Wheatland aggregation has a light but fast eleven according to reports and are prepared to give the Casper team a hard battle. Zev arrived late yesterday and ‘was reported by his trainer, Samuel C. Hildreth, to have stood the trip well. A gallop over a mile was the workout scheduled today for the Kentucky derby winner. Henry T. Bunker of Davenport, Towa, who playa guard and has re- ceived grade A, the highest mark, in every course at college, has been awarded a John Harvard scholar ship. This honor, named after the founder of the university, carries no monetary award, but is the univer sity’s’ method of recognizing excel- lence in scholarship on the part of students who do not need financial assistance for college expenses.
