Marquis and ohn Toscano of Pathfinder, were quietly married Thursday evening, November 1, at 8 o'clock at the home jof the bride’s sister, Mrs. P. W. Frank, the Rev. Robert R. Marquis, brother of the bride, officiating. ‘They were attended by Miss Lulu ‘Weaver and Edward Alkine. Little Merle Frank, attractively dressed in a white dress, acted as flower girl. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. Robert C. Marquis and is among the popular girls of Natrona county. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of Mrs. P, W. Frank to which only intimate friends and relatives attended. The couple left Friday, overland for Denver and other Colo- rado points where they will spend some time. They will be at home to their friends after November 25 at their home at Pathfinder. eee informal Dinner Party it Evening. Miss Lillian Robbins entertained t an informal dinner party given last evening at her residence, on Meech street. The evening was pent in playing bridge, honors be ing taken by Mrs. Robert Morgan and Miss Thelma Frank. Twelve guests attended. eee Reception Wednesday for Dr. and Mrs. Cromer. The reception given Wednesday evening at the Odd Fellows hall by the Ladies’ Aid soclety of the Grace English Lutheran church was in every way a huge success. The af- fair was given in honor of Dr. and ‘Mrs. J. M. Cromer who will leave soon for California where they will spend the winter months. During the entertainment an enjoyable pro- gram was given which included vocal selections by Mrs. A. Johnson. Miss Irene Guthrie and Harry Guthrie. In behalf of the society Mrs. Charles F. Mrs. Hugh A. Stewart entertained at an informal luncheon given this week at her home in honor of her mother, Mrs. J. C.
