Mr. Matheson, is the inventor and has been steadily at work perfecting the machine since April last. The machine operates by horse power and digs and tops the beets and piles each in rows and is rapid in performing its work. A demonstration is,scheduled tn the beet fields of Colorado next week. Mr. Matheson is also the inventor and patentee of a fishing device for lost tools in oil wells, and a raflroad rail coupler as well as other useful devices. He was in the city yesterday on his way to Shoshoni. NOTICE.
