RECOVERING STOLEN AUTOMOBILES Forty thousand Yellow Cab drivers in practically every city of the country, are now actively assisting police departments in the, work of recovering stolen cars. ‘This idea originated by Roy Payne of the Yellow Cab company of Topeka Kans., has been taken up with thusiasm by every taxicab operator, and very effective work has been done. These taxicab operators have ar ranged with the chief of police of their various cities to notify the cab dispatcher whenever a car is stolen. This dispatcher broadcasts over the phone to every driver under his direction a complete de- scription of the car. As a result, all drivers are on the alert, and be cause they cover most of the city during the day and night, they sooner or Jater run across the car stolen During the last two years Topeka taxicab drivers have recovered a dozen cars and similar results have been obtained in other cities. This is only one of the many ways in which Yellow Cab drivers throughout the country are render- ing effective assistance to the citi zens they drive. — AISTORY OF COUNTY ALSO ON SALE AT TREVETT’ STORE The name of the Trevett con- fectionery store has been uninten- tionally omitted from the names of the concerns handling the sale of Mr. A. J. Mokler’s “History of Na trona County.” Guy and John Trevett, the proprietors, are among the real pioneers of Natrona county having lived in this county all of their lives. They have seen much of the history made that is recounted by Mr. Mokler in his history and urally appreciate its value. The History of Natrona County” will be found on sale at the Trevett confectionery the same as at the other places advertised. Future ads will carry the name of this concern, an omission in the past for which the Tribune apologiz i Donald Gallagher has moved his law dffice to 104 Becklinger Bids.
