State Meeting of D. A. R. At Cheyenne This Week | The state meeting of the Daugh- ters of The American Revolution was held yesterday in the Woman's club room of the Carnegie library at Cheyenne. The meeting was presided over by Mrs. Maurice Groshon, state regent. Following the reports of the officers a wel- coming address was made by Mrs. James H. Walton, regent of the Cheyenne chapter which was re- sponded to by Mrs. B, B, Brooks of this city. A feature of the meet- ing was an address given on the constitution by J. C. O'Mahoney. The convention was closed with a tea given at the executive mansion. Others besides Mrs, Brooks who at- tended the meeting from Casper were Mrs. William Holland and Mrs. E. P. Bacon. eee Wyoming Pledges Are Announced Announcement has been made of Wyoming girls who have been pledged to the different sororieties at the Nebraska University and University of Colorado. Campbell, widow of the first governor of the Territery of Wyoming, died September 21 at her home in Washington aity.
