Nowadays the problem {s to get enough schools for the Indian children who want to be taught, the Interior department says. Troops of cavalry used to be sent to reservations when Indian agents couldn't get the red-akinned young- sters to schoo] by moral suasion. Then the Indians used to tear down school houses and interfere with construction of others by hiding the lumber. Now the Indians help in school construction. All the big schools off the reservation, where Indians ore educated, have been forced to inerease their capacity this year.
