Hecht, cashier of the American National Bank and Trust company here, are expected to reach $150,000 and per- aps more, it was learned today. Hecht is in jail in default of $50,000 bond. He was arrested late yester- day charged with embezzling $10,000 of the bank's funds. According to Hecht’s attorney the alleged misappropriation of the bank's funds were made to recuperate losses sustained in bad investments.
