LORAIN OVEN STOVES: IN POPULAR DEMAND; SALES HERE ARE ON INCREASE “A great many people feel that to buy a gas stove without a regulator is ike buying an automobile without a starter,” says Barle G. Burwell of the Casper Gas Appliance company who reported this morning that the sale of Lorain gaa stoves by his com-| pany was increasing by leaps and| bounds, “Ever since the invention of the cotton gin and the wheat harvester, inventive genius has been focused on the task of lightening the labors of men. And ever since the first cave woman prepared the wild meat) provided by her mate, women have been compelled to watch the pot while the meal was cooking. At last @ new invention has come to her as- sistance. “It is known as the oven heat regulator, By merely turning an in- dicator on the gas pipe of her ra: she can absolutely contro! the oven temperature and determine the exact time the food will be cooked. Much| better results are obtained by this method since each kind of food tastes best when it is cooked for a certain length of time at an even tempera- ture. This is exactly what happens when the oven heat regulator is used. “And think of the time saved and freedom gained by the busy house- wite, While the dinner is being dell- cately cooked in the oven, with temp- erature automatically controlled, she can be miles away enjoying herself at the theater, shopping, or visiting friends. When she returns at dinner) time the meal is perfectly cooked and ready to serve, “Besides ‘whole meal cooking,’ this remarkable device allows fruits and vegetables to be canned in the oven. Fruits and vegetables thus canned will keep indefinitely and have a firm- ness, color and flavor that is found only in things that come fresh from the garden.” a BIG AUCTION SALE.
