The large ice houses of the Pacific fruit Express are no longer in danger of being undermined, although one end of ons has gone and there is a possi- bility that it may. be destroyed. ‘There are sixteen thousand tons of fee stored there. No rain fell yesterday and high waters are not again looked for. The bridge over the Laramie river on the Colorado, Wyoming and Eastern was saved by use of sand bags, chains and cables and is now being used.
