At an attractive afternoon party given Saturday afternoon at the home of Miss Verra Tangeman and Miss Vida Williams the engagement of Miss Sara Crumpton to John H. McMahon ‘was announced. Miss Crumpton is head of the art department of the high school, being one of the most capable and popular girls of the city. Mr. McMahon was a resident of this city for eight years, having been dur- ing that time connected with the Con- tinental Supply company and the Na- tional Supply company.
