MONDAY, APRIL 16, 1923, JEETGHO WOOL [ OOLD FOR 8 Woolgrowers Interpret News as Assurance of Higher Prices Here. That himher values will inevitably result in wools and es: ly in those of the finer grades as increases in buying power develops was the text of a message received here by Gov. B. B. Brooks from the National Wool Warehouse. Chicago, which stated that the Jericho wool pool, 600,000 pounds of fine medium French combing. wool was sold yesterday at 51 cents without tag and buck d'e- count. Other wools of the same gen- eral breeding brought 50 cents raised in adjacent Cistricts. Wodl growers are urged to hold their wool for higher prices, accord. ing to the message, The announcement surpasses in in- terest. anything perta‘ning to the wool industry that has been revealed in recent months, Following a win- ter that has been unusually favor- able to the wool growers, the Wyo- ming men engaged in the industry are looking to a successful outcome of the work this year. The clipping season is fast arriving, and the Wyo- ming wool {s in excellent condition for shipping with the prospect that ft will be received as high grade. Since the disastrous winter of 1919 which took heavy losses from the stockmen, the wool growers have been enceavoring to get once more on thetr feet and have been looking forward to the comeback which now seems at hand. It will be one af the greatest triumphs made over ad- verse growing conditions in recent years. ee SCOUT EXECUTIVE WILL ViolT CASPER, REPORTS LOCAL SCOUT OFFICIAL Regional Scout Executive John H.
