SATURDAY, APRIL 14, 1923. Mooscheart Legion Meeting April 16. The women of the Mooseheart legion will hold a special meeting Monday evening April 16 at $ o'clock at the Moose hall. Business of im-| portance to all members will be transacted. | eet Hoop Stars to Be Banqueted. The members of the basketball quintet of Standard Plant No. 3. will| be feted this evening with a banquet | at the Henning hotel given by their fellow workers. Plant No. 3 came out second in the City league tourna-| ment held this season. Those who will speak tonight In- clude Dr. 8. K. Loy, Dr. M. G. Paulus. R. M. Andrus and H. W. Ederstein The Columbia quartet will furnish some entertainment. oe DeMolay Organize Band and Orchestra. ‘The organizing of an orchestra and y’band was undertaken by the mem. -" ers of the Darius chapter, Order of folay at a meeting held at the Joe Lowndes Wednesday Nine members have thus far showed their intention of taking part in the orchestra and it is ex pected that at least 15 boys will he members of the band when it is de- veloped, since there {s this number of talented musicians in the chapter. o6 3 Birthday Party Last Evening. Miss Evelyn Roberts was hostess at a birthday party given last eve- ning at her home on Fourteenth street in honor of Miss Elizabeth Fuller whose birthday was yesterday. The evening was spent in playing cards after which refreshments were served. Miss Roberts was assisted during the vening, by Mrs. James Garey. Twelve guests were present. Yellow and white flowers were used for decorations. Vespers at ¥. W. 0. A. Sunday Afternoon. Arrangements have been completed for the vespers to be held tomorrow afternoon from 3 until 6 at the Young Women's Christian association club rooms fn the Smith-Turner building. An interesting program has been planned and light refresh ments wil) be served. An invitation is extended to all women and sighs of the city. oe DeMolay Install New Officers. At the last meeting of the Darius chapter, Order of DeMolay, held this week, the following officers were elected: Robert Knittle, m. c.; Paul O'Brien, s. c.; Maurice Post, j. c.; Rollin Nygaard, scribe, and Byron Hule, treasure: City Briets Lester McGrath of Thermopolis 1s visiting here for a few days at the home of his aunt and uncle Mr. and Mra, John McGrath. eee F. ©.
