STANDARD NO. 1 AND EXPRESS WINNERS IN BASKETBALL GAMES: Refinery Fives Are Only Teams with Percentage of 1.000 as Result of Last Night’s Games; Back- logs Unable to Stop Standard Aggregation. At the conclusion of the double-header in the Casper bas- ketball league last night at the Baptist church gymnasium, the two Standard Oil company teams were left at the top of the league, the only teams who have not suffered a defeat. The Backlogs, hitherto un: night for the Standard Oil company team from Plant No. 1 The refiners had the weight, the speed and the passwork and in the last ha‘f swamped the Boy Scout rep- resentatives. Captain Lano, Wilson and Houston alternated in firing in baskets for the winners while Rob- ertson and Ward counted most for the losers. The American Express quintet de-! feated the Elks aggregation in a fast, rough game that kept the spectators on ege every minute. Both teams were off on shooting and slightly bet- ter condition won for the Express ageregation. Mclain and F. Belcher led in. scoring for the winners with Clowry starring for the Elks.
