"They enjoyed the afternoon in pitch- tug horseshoes and in picking apples from the laden trees of the orchard. Father Mullin officiating, when Miss Ruperta Beck became the bride of Mx Rudolph Schmidt The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Jonn Knocken- bauer. Only a few intimate friends and relatives were present. ‘The bride was dressed in a gown of iienna color and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The bride has Mved tn Casper for three years and has-many friends here. ‘The groom was a patrolman on the Casper pelice force for a year. On Monday evening the officers of the police departrpent and thelr wives entertained the bride and groom with a handsome 6 o'clock dinner given in the apartments of Mrs. R. C, Ryan, Matron. The dinner was prepared and served by Mm. Ryan and Miss Olive Rats, who is olty nurse. Phe table was set for 25 persons and was beautifully decorated in orange and white. . Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt left for Laur- do, Mont. yesterday where Schmidt possesses a homestead.
