Several interesting! topics appeared on the program for the business session. Mrs. Emmel de- livered @ delightful recitation. Mrs. W, J. West gave a reading on eti-| quette, Mes. W. J. Fisher rendered a; pleasing soliloquy. Mrs. Overbaugh gave & reading, and Mrs. George! Brown discussed ancient proverbs. After the program had been com-| pieted, an hour of bridge was indulged | in. He found many changes after an absence of 20 years from his home. Mr. Astin landed tn New York City on July 15 and was met there by Mrs. Astin. After a few days’ spent in New York Mr. and Mrs. Astin visited Ni- agara Falls and Detroit, where they had delivered to them a new Buick purchased through the Casper Buick agency. En route from Detroit they visited friends in Jackson, Mich., Mr. Astin’s sister in Chicago, Ill, and DR.
