It has been found guilty by Dr. Aven Nelson, president of the Untversity of Wyoming and authority. on botany of being of the variety that harbors black rust of wheat. Dr. Nelson was called in to make a decision when farmers of the Cheyenne district, backed by the De- partment of Agriculture, protested against the hedge, and when residents protested with equal force against the uprooting of the bushes.
