Mrs. Garrett showed the great need for clothing among some of the In- dians of Montana and urged the giris to put forth every effort to answer the call that comes from there. The girls have been doing splendid work along this le for many months. They bave made a great deal of clothing and have done their best to alleviate Lnforturiate conditions within and without the borders of the United States. A stag party for Lee McGrath of the O'Connor McGrath Constraction compery was given in the apartments of William Kingsley and James O'Connor Wednesday evening. A large number of Mr. friends were present. The recipient of the honor left last night for Nova Scotia, where he will be married to Miss Jean Fleming on June 29. His bride has visited here previously and has @ large number of friends among the young people of the city. W. C. T. U. Bake Sale Tomorrow. The W. C. T. U. will hold a bake sale at the Holmes Hardware com- pany tomorrow afternoon for the benefit of this year’s budget, which the organizmtion desires to complete before June 1. Mesdames J. T. Rich- ards and H. FE. Parsons will have charge of the sale. Security Benefit Association Meets. The Security Benefit association held a card party last night at the residence of John Stewart, 441 CY avenue. A very enjoyable time was had. Musical numbers were rendered by several talented members of the association. at ehs Business Girls’ and Teachers’ Pienic Postponed, The picnic of the Business Gtris and Teachers who are members of the Presbyterian church which was to take place tomorrow has been post poned because of the art exhibit which is being held.
