NHTRONA HIGH CAPTURES SECOND |= PLAGE IN STATE TRICK EVENTS| ne ‘Thermopolis Leads by Over Four Points in Fight For Interscholastic Championship Friday on State Fair Grounds at Douglas Thermopolis high school, with a total of 33 points, cap- tured the silver loving cup awarded for first horiors in the first state interscholastic track and field meet held on the state fairgrounds at Douglas yesterday and Casper «as a close second with 28 4-5 points. Twelve schools in al\ par- ticipated in the meet and finished in the following order: Basin, 14 4-5 points; Glenrock 1 lette 7 45. Parkerton 5; Manville 3; Lander 2 4-5; Rawlins and Wheatland, each; Pine Bluffs 0. Individual honors were captured by Wedge Thon:pson of Thermopolis, whose performance, along with that of ‘Peninty of the same school made it possible for the hot springs town to grab off the honcrs, Blodgett, Scott ‘and Groves were the big point win- ners for Natrona high. : R.
