Union Takes More Leases. The Union Of! company has taken over leases aggregating 1,000 acres on the Hale dome, 12 miles east of Ther mopolis, Wyo., where a wildcat will be spudded in earty next month. GREATER PART OF LONG GAS LINE IN NATRONA COUNTY, BOARD FINDS Of the 89 miles of pipeline required to construct the gas line between Cas Per and the Mahoney dome and F ris off field, Natrona county has a toal of 53 miles to its credit in com pltance with the order of the state board of equalization which was is- sued yesterday. The board's decision adds over $600 000 to the taxabie valuation of Na trona county, it was stated here today by Lyle E. Jay, county assessor who returned from the state board meet ng. Under the the finding of the equaliz- ation board 53 miles is credited to Na trona county and 36 miles to Carbon county. The entire valuation of the Pipeline which is jointly owned by the Producers and Refiners corporation and the Midwest Refining company was withheld. ‘The reason for with- holding the valuation set is because similar adjustments between other counties must be made by the board and ft would be injurious in thetr action to make announcements at this time : ‘The gas line which wil) add a big as- sessable valuation to the state is now being used to open up the gas deposits of the fields in southern Wyoming to provide abundant fuel for Casper re- fineries.
