So rapid has been the response which the investors of this country have accorded me, that my financing. campaign is rapidly drawing to the peak. From the rock ribbed coast of Maine to the sunny beaches of Southern California, and from the placid waters of the north Pacific to the sands of the Gulf, men and women who desire to make 1922 pay them fortunes from oil have rallied to my standard in Texas. Meanwhile I know no rest. The last’ ten days I have spent on the floor of our Couch No. 1 well at Wortham. During the long day and through the dark watches of the night I stayed with the drillers except for a few hours of sleep. From time to time I would visit Colonel Humphreys’ wells at Currie and was fortunate enough to be present when his sand yards north of our Couch No. 1 came in. Trapshooter’s Porte: Well No. 1 in Kaufman County Has Oil Showing at 900 Feet. There—in Kaufman County—my_ stockholders and I stand an extraordinary chance of winning mil- lions upon millions of dollars; Our Porter No. 1 well is drilling at about 1,500 feet. The log of this well thus far convinces me that * within thirty days from now I will have opened up a new field here in Kaufman County. We had a showing of oil in the Porter No. 1 at 900 feet. Geologically speaking, this is as it should be. I was not surprised, for I expected it. Foot by foot as we have gone down the under- ground structure of our Porter No..1 corresponds un- mistakably with the logs of the great gushers of Mexia, which are located on the same formation— the Balcones Fault. The Porter No. 1 is being drilled on 3,000 acres. A gusher in the Porter No. 1 I believe will make our lease and well worth $20,000,000.00—and I in- tend to sell. Of course, a gusher in our Couch No. 1 at Worth- am on 82 acres would, in my opinion, bring perhaps $1,000,000 on the market—$1,000,000 for my stock- holders in this gigantic enterprise, and myself. But we hold THREE THOUSAND ACRES under the der- rick of our Porter No. 1 in Kaufman County. From $4,000 to $31,000 in cash in eight months on an investment of $100 is my record in Kansas. BUT THE FAMOUS TRAPSHOOTER LEASE WHICH I DEVELOPED THERE WAS ONLY 80 ACRES! How much would rny stockholders and I have won in Kansas if the Trapshooter lease were 3,000 acres? The amount of cash profit that it is possible for my stockholders and myself to wih in Kaufman County and in Wortham, almost staggers the imagi- nation. It is hard to even imagine $20,000,000, but many oil companies just like ours have won much more than $20,000,000 in a few months by bringing in wells on large tracts of acreage and selling out as I propose to do. Twenty millidh dollars is really not a big lot of money in the industry, but think what it would mean to you to partigipate in a winning like this. I think I have proved conclusively that I know how to make money for my friends in oil. In Kan- sas I solti out—whacked up the profit and the win- nings of my stockholders in my famous Trapshooter Oil.Company were from $4,000 to $31,000 for $100, in eight months. I am whacking up again in Texas these months, to the stockholders of the Trapshooter Trust. Two weeks ago I disbursed to this host of men and women 50 per cent of the amount of their investments with me. No Fixed Capitalization Par Value $1.00 TRAPSHOOTER DEVELOPMENT CO. I have declared another 50 per cent disbursement during the month of April; a third, 50 per cent, in May, and I shall continue to whack up with the stockholders of this, my first Texas company, as long as the successful operations of the company war- rant it. ° The returns which my Trapshooter Trust stock- holders have received from me are a mere drop in the bucket compared to the profits which I believe will come to us all in the Trapshooter Development Company. . The oil world waits for my Couch well at Worth- am, and I am drilling it in. A gusher in our Couch would mean a great new oil field and a fat treasury for the Trapshooter Development Company.
