All posts of the state have been supplied with in- | structions and forms for taking the ensus, and word has been received that many pasts throughout Wyo- ming are making elaborate plans to mtke the campaign offective in their |own communities. Legion Auxiliary units have been invited to cooperate with the posts with which they are connected. ‘The “service consus” embraces a house to house canvass in an effort to gain contact with every veteran of the world war in the state. The object is to enroll every veteran, list his wants, and inform him of his rights as a veteran of the war. The purpose is to enable the Legion to extend its aid in securing for veterans the benefits to which they are entitl- ed as ex-service men, especially the benefits in the way of insurance, compensation, vocational training and rehabilitation through the war veterans’ bureau. April 17 is the date set for the cam paign to start. No time limit is set and posts are expected to carry en until their community census is com: pleted. Throught the efforts of D. w Ogilbee, Wyoming department com- mander of the American Legion, gov- ernment clean-up squads will make a return visit to the towns and cities of the state between Mhy 15 and July 10 for the purposes of coming in touch with new cases to be presented ‘or the beneffts of the war veterans’ bureau.
