Kearns En Route For New York CHICAGO, Jan. 24—Jack Kearns, manager of Jack Dempsey, left here today for New York for a conference with Tex Rickard in regard to a match for the world’s heavyweight cham- Pionship. Dempsey, Kearns said, is training daily on the coast and is within 10 pound of his fighting weight. Kearns agrees with Rickard that return match with Carpentier in this country weuld not be profitable. If suitable financial indacements were offered, Kearns said, he would cousid- er meeting the French champion in Europe, CASPER INTEREST KEEN IN. ANDERSON-DUNBAR RING BOUT AT LANGER Fans here are awaiting the clash between Eddie Anderson and Luxon Dunbar which will be staged at Lander Saturday night in which two of the classiest battlers in this vicinity will go out for blood and laurels in the bantamiweight division of the Kocky Mountain district. Both boys have met once before, when both were amateurs appearing in the Elks’ tournament here. Anderson won handily from Dunbar at that time.
