Phone 724 SO THE-PEOPLE MAY KNOW ~ eer mer nee Say I was approached .by three representatives, consisting of MR. MORRIS HAYUTIN, PART O OF THE STAR CLOTHING CO., MR. CHARLES DOUDS, CLERK AT THE SCOTT CLOTHING CO., AND MR. CARL THOMASON, CLERK AT THE HUB CLOTHING CO., in reference to my keeping my stores open evenings. Their spokesman heing Mr. Hayutin, part owner of the Star Clothing Co. Mr. Hayutin threatened me.in the presence of my employes that he and a few other merchants of Casper would see that I would not get any more goods to Sell, and that I would be boycotted by the union if I per- sisted in keeping open evenings. Why pick on me when there are many other stores do- ing the same as I do, which is the truth? It is a rotten, filthy lie when these men accuse me of saying: “I would be in Casper when the unions are broke.” They made this state- ment merely to create a hard feeling of the union men towards me. . I ask the public in all fairness what business had Mr. Hayutin on a clerk’s committee when he is a part owner of the Star Clothing Co.? What object had he in mind when he asked me to close my store? Easy to guess. MEN OF CASPER—This is not a union men’s fight, but a fight of a few clothing mer- chants here in Casper who are trying to put me out of business because I have been get- ting under their skins. Tra | FOLKS—I will be in Casper a long, long time, and I'll fight harder now than ever, even if it takes the last pair of pants I have got. ‘ we YW RE De MY CLOSING OUT SALE ~~ - Now Going On In Full Blast BUSINESS IS GOOD ~ ATTENTION!
