ON COAST TRIP Football Eleven to Leave Tuc- he Next Week for Game With Centre. ———- TUCSON, Ariz., Dec. 16—Coach J. Fr. MeKale of the University of Ari- gona football squad announced that plans are being laid for the Wildcats to leave for the coast on Friday or saturday before the date scheduled for their interssetional clash with Cen- tre covlege at San Diege on December 26. ‘Tne local mentor declared that climatic cendttions and water are so similar that time to become acclimated will not be needed by the Arizona elev- There is a posstbility, however. will cause the eleven to leave for the coast city at an earlier date. A full squad of 85 men is hard at work whipping into shape for the game with the eastern wonder team and MeKale expects to enter the game with every one of his regulars in ex cellent condition, The team that will meet Centre is practically the same team that romped off with the south western conference championship and that defeated Whittier college in a post-season dual title game. ‘The only regular out of the lineup will be “Curley” La Shelle, all-conferenc: tackle who is out of the game with « broken leg.
