We favor all civic improvements, the extension of the park system, maintenance of streets and alleys, extension of paving when properly petitioned for, and more attention paid to the general cleanliness of downtown alleys than at present, and an improvement in the system of caring for the condition of walks, crosswalks and streets in the residence districts of the city. 2. We favor the letting of all city contracts to the lowest responsible bidder on all public improvements, as specified by law, and believe that where possible, without undue discrimination these contracts should be let to Casper citizens, who employ Casper labor, to the end that Casper money be left in Casper, instead of going to other cities outside of the state.
