Lane and Miss Margaret Speas. They left this morning in three cars for Goth- more park where they took the old ~oagadén trail. A’ picnic dinner was to be served on the mountain’ at the end of a hike. The trail offers one of the finest views of the country to be found om Casper mountain and an enjoyable trip was anticipated in view of ideal weather. The Misses Margaret O'Brien, Nellie Quinn and Nellie Potts are leaving today for Glenrock where they ‘will be the guests of Mrs. Floyd Jones for over the week end, ose Children's Party Event of Today. Miss Mary Jean Sandlin entertained for about 12 of her small friends this afternoon at a party given at the home of her grand mother, Mrs. A. R. Sand- lin, 522 South Park street. Part of the afternoon was spent p'aying games on the lawn while con- tests were played inside the home. Lovely refreshments were served just before the close of.the afternoon. oe. H, James, in honor of the tenth birth anniversary of her grand daughter, Miss Delight Shoemaker. Authorities investi- gating the explosion said the explosive consisted of about 59 pounds of dyna- mite and had been placed in the rear of a restaurant corfdécted by William Haden. d The building in which the restaur- ant is located was completely wrecked and two buildings, one on each side of the restaurant, were badly damaged. Tn one of the buildings there was a soft drink place and in the other a barber shop. The proprictor of the soft drink place and hiswife and brother lived upstairs over their place of business, They were in bed at the time ©f the explosion and thrown out by it.
