Church, confessed slayer of Bernard Daugherty and Car! Ausmus, automo- bile salesmen, Thursday was brought face to face with his mother for the first time since his arrest and in her presence in the state's attorney's of- fice, he repeated the details of the two crimes. He reverted largely to the first of his many confessions and indicated, officials declared, that he planned and executed the murders without assistance. Neither Clarence Wilder nor Milton Walker, named by Church as accom- plices, officials said they had been convinced, had any part whatever ir the crimes. Even the confession of Leon Parks chat he was Church's ac- complice is open to doubt, the au- thorities say. Mrs. Church, who collapsed when informed of Church's first confession several days ago, sat apparently un- moved today throughout her son's re- cital of the details of the murders. At the close of his story she shook her head when asked if she had anything to say. Later she remarked: “I cannot understand why Harvey Doug, the Musketeer Ay Tae e MILITARY ANG Compiled by Experts at Washington.
