W, Finnegan of Casper, conductor of the train, is said to be walking around the streets of Chadron apparently none the worse for his hazardous ex- perience. ‘An official Investigation of the wreck was instituted yesterday. It was determined that a heavy cloud- burst about 15 miles away_from the scene of the accident swept two huge trees against the bridge which acted as a dam. The water then spread to the west and the pilings on that end were so weakened that the bridge wave way under the weight of the train.
