PAGE FOUR CASPER SUPPLY REACHING OUT FOR BUSINESS Large Material Contracts Are Cen- tered Here in Competition With Large Firms, Is Report For the first time in its history the Casper Supply company is entering the field of competition with foreign concerns on municipal contracts for various kinds of supplies for improve- ments contemplated. The success of the company is shown by the numer- ous contracts awarded to this agency because of the fact that {t is an estab- lished business in Casper and leceuae its bids compare favorably with the Jowest bids of other concerns. The most recent success of the com- pany was the securing of a contract from the city of Casper for 1,200 tons of pipe for the extension of water service here, authorized in a recent bond election. The bid on this pipe was submitted in connection with the National Cast Iron and Pipe company ot Birmingham, Ala. The company was also successful in selling 65 Kennedy type fire hydrants which are to be used with the water system in extending fire protection in Casper. There were four other bid. ders for the hydrant contract and the prices were nearly the same in all instances, but the service which has per in its rol! for industrial and trade supremacy in the state. The Casper Supply company has grown from a small business orgar- ized some three years ago to one which has six traveling representatives cov- ering all of Wyoming ana parts of Nebraska, the Dakotas and Montana, With its successful competition in mu- nicipal bidding and the favor in which the company is held here it is seen that the present success of the com: pany is just the infancy of what it will be a few years hence. Terrell Young for the American Legion, and the idea of home talent musical, live, snappy, artistic and well produced has been enthusias- tically received by the society circles of the city. A meeting was held last night and a publicity committee was appointed. Mrs. A. J. Cunningham, Mrs. RB. C. Wyland, Mrs. P. C. Nicolaysén, Dorsey Straitiff, C. R. Peterson and Dr. W. H.
