How- ever, it was cut down so'that the well only made about’ 400 barrels. On the northwest quarter of sec- tion 1-39-79 the Ohio Oil company and the Néw York*have a joint well in the shale that is doing a:nice produc- tion from a depth of 1,000: feet. An- other well on the same section is on top of the second’ Wall Creek and should be in the pay in: the near fu- ture. The rig is ready for the third well,on this same section. On the southwest of section 2-39-79 there is another well near completion and this tract is carrying four com- pleted wells at present that arc mak- ling a nice production.
