Casper was honored this week by the visit of four prominent Chicago women, Northwestern railway women's asso- ciation and the wives of officials of the road. The ladies, Mrs. Walter J. ‘Towne, president of the association: Mrs. A. M. Easte, vice president; Mr: BE. vid Gregg, chairman, came here in a special coach and were met at the train by members of the local branch association. During their stay here they were elaborately entertained. Mrs. G, A. Holmes presided over a tea given in honor of Wesinesday and in thc evening of the same day a reception was given in their honor in the basement of the Methodist church. o'clock: luncheon was given for them at the Henning, Mrs. J. B. Barnes, Jr., hostesses, Tho decorations were car- ried out prettily in red, white and blue, and dainty place cated the places about the tables. At this luncheon there were eleven visiting ladies from Chadron, and of- ficers of the local auxiliary, besides the honored guests and hostesses. Tv Girls’ Club Is Entertained at Gloria Blake Dare Studio. The Gloria Dare Blake studio of Vocal and dramatic art was open last night for the members of the Junior and Senior clubs of the Girl Reserves. The girls were chaperoned by Miss Helen Wells of the Y. W. Mrs. A. G, Fidel, advisor of the club. Mesdames Robert Mitchell, Patten and C, A. Cooper of Tulsa, Okla., assisted Mrs. Blake in receiy- ing.
