PAGE EIGHT Sub-Committee Provides Army 175,000 Men WASHINGTON, Feb. 23.—An army of average strength of 175,000 for the next fiscal year was provided in ap- propriations approved by the senate subcommittee cn military affairs in completing its report on the army ap- propriation bill for presentation to the full committee. This strength com- pares with an average of 150,000 as provided for in the bill passed by the house. Youngest Father On Record Puts Age at 3 Years (By United Press) oR, Feb. Investigation showed the father had three other children and that he was a member of the Jehovaites, a ‘religious cult. He told authorities that he did not begin to live until three years ago when he joined the sect. The baby’s name is Otto Jehovah, ar.
