Section 1. The provisions of this act shall apply to all incorporated cities and towns in the State of Wyoming, wheth- er incorporated under a general law or ® special act, having a population of 1,000 or more, according to the cen- Sus taken last preceeding under the uthority of the United Statas of America or of this state. Section 5. The city or town shall prepare and distribute the ballots. CERTIFICATION OF ELECTION RE- SULTS, PUBLICATION, WHEN PLAN TAKES EFFECT. Section 8, The county or town clerk shall certify to the legislative authority of the city or town the results of the election on the question of adopting the form of government provided for here- in, anda duplicate certification shall he filed in the office of the city or town clerk. Upon the filing of a certifica- tion in the office of the city or town clerk that the result of the election Is favorable to the adoption of such plan, it-shall be the duty of the clerk dt-oneo to make publication of the fact. in’ {at least one issue in a daily or weekly newspaper of the general circulation in such city or town. A plan of govern- ment adopted,under this act shall take eftect upon the completion of such pub- lication insofar as it applies to the nom- ination and election of officers provided for herein, and in all other respects it shall take eifect on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January next sneceeding the first election of officers held hereunder. THE COMMISSIONERS, SALARY. Section 9. In cities or towns adopt-| ing the plan of government provided for by this act, there shall be a commis-y sion or council elected from the city or} town at large. In cities of the first! class. and. in cities of the ‘second’ class, the commission or council shall con-| sist of five (5) members. In all other cities or towns adopting the commission- manager plan the commission or council} shall consist of three (3) members. Each commissioner shall receive a. sal-) ary of not to exceed Six Hundred (600) | Dollars per annum in cities of the first class, not to exeeed Five Hundred (600) Dollars per annum in cities of the sec-} ond class, and not to exceed Three} Hunéred (300) Dollars in all other cities and towns. In every city or town the mayor shall receive an additional an-} nual salary equal to fifty (50) per cent of the amount reecived by him as com- missioner. TIME OF ELECTION.
