SAVAGENASEDGE ONTAVLORIN. COMING MATEH AND IS CONFIDENT Defeat for Local Champion Would Be Big Setback in Aspirations for Title; Principals in Match Arrive Tomorrow for.Final Workout Tf Steve Savage defeats Jack Taylor, Wyoming's great heavy- weight ‘champion wrestler, in the Iris Theater Monday night, it will be extremely disastrous for Big Jack’s chances for a fling at the world’s heavyweight title. Judging from comparative defeats and victories, Savage has by far the better record of the two wrestlers. He has won from Wladek Zbyszko—and had défeated Lewis and Caddock. Sayage consequently does not greatly fear Taylor although he knows the biz Wyoming man will give him a hird battle, He is just as confident as Joe Coffey, his manager and Chicago pro- moter, that he can fasten Taylor's big shoulders to the mat. Coffey told George McLeod, promoter of the match Monday, that he was sending him a wrestler who would beat Taylor. He promised Savage. Taking the task held for a time by Frank Gotch, that of defeating all comers in an annual tour across the continent, Savage was alle to meet and defeat his opponents with unvarying success. In a manner Monday’s match will be a test of «Taylor’s-ability to stage a comeback. If he is successful, many Casper fans predict that he will cor- tinue to batt'e his'way to the cham- vionship. But—well, the Taylor sup- porters do not see how the contest can come out in any other way than for Big Jack. Savage is expected here tomorrow and Jack Taylor tonight: Taylor will go through his final fast workout Sat- urday night at the Casper Athletic club when “yisitors will be welcome. Savage probably will go through some training’ pacés Sunday so that the wrestling followers will get an oppor- tunity of seeing the Chicago husky in dction before the match, Out of-town sales have been unusual- ly large® for the Savage-Taylor match, demands for reservations coming in from many of the central. Wyoming towns on all sides of Caspe: ice it was after the younger Zbyszko | reserve seats and ringside reserva- tions can be made at the Little Brick through Bilty Reeves. The class of ‘both wrestlers who will appear in the Iris Monday is clearly indicated in the large advance sale reported at the Lit- tle Brick. STATE MOVIE EXHIBITORS . ORGANIZE IN.
