L. Learner Has to Say: BUT DON’T COME UNTIL THURSDAY OM beens 5 Ld és For eight years I have giver all my most serious attention to building up a business that really means more to me than jyst an ordinary store.’ For eight years my business has grown and prospered as Casper has grown. From the beginning I have wanted to conduct a store where my customers could buy what they wanted to buy. When I-bought merchan- dise it was never a question of what an article cost but always a question of whether it would suit my people. Every one of you who traded here believed in me, believed in my merchandise, and it was these things that have made my success. My Friends, You Will No Doubt Be Surprised to Hear That I Am Leaving Casper But naturally after these years other interests have accumulated which require my atten- tion. I have for some time been interested in the manufacturing business and with the coming of a new year I am giving this new business my personal supervision. I regret very much to leave this promising city which I have grown up with since the days when it was a mere town. I regret very much to leave this home which I have built and modeled perma- nently and well to suit the convenience of my particular family, but such is the condition. I am moving from my home. I am leaving your city. And my loss is your gain. I have fought this thing over for many months and it means a tremendous loss to me, for I will sacrifice very heavily to be able to make this move. Ihave built my business by being absolutely truthful and on the square. I have always con- ducted my business in that way and my friends that is the way I am going out. I ask you to see me personally about the sale of my home, car and my store fix- tures. But my stock of merchandise I have turned over to Mr. H. 1. Gifford, an expert mer- cha attorney from Minneapolis, for quick disposal. He has orders from.me to get all that he can \ R : BUT TO SELL EVERYTHING---Clean the Store to the Bare Walls My store is closed!
