This is land for which the owners have deed direct from the Federal Government, and the title is now being transferred to the.:Marrion. Oil Company. : This is not a wild cat proposition, but ig based on actual values which are visible to anyone who will visit the property. There are at this time on this section of land NINE wells: producing high- grade crude oil. No guess about oil being discov- ered in the future, you don’t have to take that chance—it is now PROVEN and producing terri- tory, the last well having been completed a few days ago. Analysis of the oil from this property shows from 70% to 80% lubricants, claimed to be the highest grade lubricating oil produced in the west and with the great and increasing demand for oil of this quality, will make it a large revenue pro- ducer. There is now on the property equipment con- sisting of drilling machinery, a large quantity of casing of various sizes, tools, tanks, power plant and pumping equipment, a camp consisting of six sub- stantial frame buildings of commoadious size, shops and tool houses, estimated as being worth $150,000. Mr. W. E. Marrion, who has had broad exper- ience in the oil business for a number of years past secured this property from the Butte Crude Petro- leum Company, which partially developed the land ~about twenty years ago when oil was not an attrac- tive proposition. But now with the demand far in excess of production, the yield of this property will bring great wealth’ to those fortunate enough to be interested in it. Mr. Marrion, after spending several morfths and considerable money in further developing and equipping the property, satisfying himself and those who examined it of the unusual merit of the proposition, has came to the realization that the means of handling and marketing the present prod- uction-and that which will be attained in the near future will take more money than he is in a position to put in. For this reason, he has incorporated a company together with a few of his business asso- ciates, and it is the purpose of the Marrion Oil Company to carry forward the development of the property and the marketing of its production. production. . ‘ For thié purpose, the initial offering of 50,000 shares has been made. Those who desire io partici- pate’ in the profits which will flow to those inter- ested in this proposition, should at once forward order for stock at $1.00 per share accompanied by . to work placing It in shape to marke it have’an attractive appear ‘ soon as it is marketed. I want you to understand that this is not A Wyoming Corporation Par Value $1.00 Per Share A. Plain Statement of Facts f ° By Mr. Marrion ‘The Marrion O11 Company has taken over section 34-52-67, in the Moorcroft field. This section of land was owned by the Butte Petroleum Company and developed by it prior to 1902. Patent was secured before any petroleum withdrawal was made, it being one of the first pieces of land patented in Wyoming under the Placer Mining Act. j < A large amount of money was spent on this land, seven wells were drilled camps built and the wells equipped for pumping. There was.no market for oil in the state at that time and no tank cars in the west. This necessitated barreling the oil and shipping to Butte, for use in the mine machinery. The freight rate of $9.00 per barrel was prohibitive and the company was forced to close down. ? This being a high-grade lu! it atid the Wyoming refineries not being equipped ‘to handle it until recently has made it a hard proposition to handle in the past, but now a high-grade lubricant of this quality is far more valuable than a gasdline crude. Between the time the Butte Crude Petoleum Company did this work and the time that there was an actual demand for the production, several of the stockholders of the company passed away and left their interests in the property in the hands of who were either not interested in the further development ‘of the property or not jn a position to look after the business con- nected with it, . * I took: over the property on March Ist of this year, with the intention ‘of turning it again quick at a small profit. [ puta crew ance to the investor, The more work I did the better it looked to me and the more I wanted to do, I soon learned that the wells were much better than I-had expected them fo be and that the oil was of a very high grade lubricating quality, I decided this was good enough for me and since that time have put forth all my efforts to developing it. I have spent $75,000 on the property this year and have never gone to the public for one dollar, I have drilled two new wells, put in a new pumping plant, a water system to furnish water for drilling, built new buildings, equipped my camp to accommodate twenty men, put in storage tanks, connected the wells to the Power and ¢torage and am iow drilling another. well. In order’ to eoutinue operations and market the production 1 am forced to incorporate and place some stock on the market as I have spent my last dollar. I have eliminated the gamble entirely. It is not a question of getting oil, I already have it and tools and equipment to get. plenty more. I have production enough now to pay 4 nice dividend on the entire capitalization of the company as # speculation but an investment that will bring big returns, I don't want anyone to class this as a stock selling scheme, as I intend to sell only enough stock to finance marketing facilities and carry on operations until I get thé production on the market. By Sat time this revenue will more than pay for future develop: ment. To my friends and the public, I wish to state that this is an opportunity for you as I have developed this property beyond the gambling point and have proven it beyond a doubt to be one of the best investments in the country. I have done-this with my own money and those that in now, may consider themselves lucky as it is my intention e put all my efforts to this as I have already done, for my own benefit as well as those who associate themselves with me, W.
