The minimum of 44 degrees was reached twice, on the mornings of July 7 and 8. The 98-degree mark was in one degree of last year’s record of 99. Total precipitation for the month was .65 of an inch, and the greatest amount to fall in any 24-hour period was .19 of an inch on July 24. Rain fell_on seven days.
