B U., which was held on Friday after- noon, was called to order, by Mrs. 8., E. Bailey, state president, in the absence of Mrs, H. K, Burdick, local president. ‘The devotional exercises were led by Mrs. L. P. Hall followed by the prayer by Mrs. Bailey and Mrs.: Prager. > Following the regular business meet- ing the Rev. Walter H. French gave an interesting address on the subject of “Patriotism”. He took the eharacter of Nehemiah, one of the patriarchs of the Old Testament as his example, showing Nehemiah's ‘struggle in re- building the city of Jerusalem, in ever coming the many hardships and the final success’ in rebuilding th walls and gates, which stand for in nity and honesty, so that his power as felt way beyond the city, Ther as a + iore modern example, Rev. Hennessy which took place at Cheyenne, Wyo., on Thursday July 24, have been received by Casper friends. Mrs, Hennessy is the daugh- ter of Mrs. Christina -Mullison.
