These bids w all considered too high for the amount of work to be accomplished. In Laramie county the Utah construc- tion of Salt Lake City was awarded the contract for the construction of the 25-mile section of the Lincoln highway between Cheyenne and Buford, and also the contract for the 22-mile section of the Cheyenne-Torrington road in Lara- mie and Goshen counties. The Lincoln highway contract price is $85,000 and the Cheyenne-Torrington road was awarded for $79,000. The Utah company also received the contract for the con- struction of the 16-mile section of the Eden Valley road, extending from Zembr to Eden, in Sweetwater county 000. No satisfactory bids were received for the construction,of the five bridges and tne three mile section of the Daniel, Lane road in- Lincoln county, and all bids were rejected by the commission.
