NEWS BRIEFS OF BASIN COUNT District Court Opens Three-Week Session Monday; Pool Hall Man Skips BASIN, Wyo., Feb. 10—The ‘regular February term of district court con- vened here Monday, at which time jury reported for service. It is ex ed that the docket will be well clea up at this session, which will last at least three weeks. J. W. Wales, one of the proprietors of a neW®pool hall here, is alleged to have left for parts unknown the first of the week, and upon complaint of W. P. Thompson a warrant was issued for his arrest on the charge of passing a fraudulent check. C. A. Welch of Cowley was in Basin this week and placed an order with a local seed dealer for 2,500 pounds of sunflower seed. The sheep men in that section will plant this seed to be used for silo purposes, tests last year having demonstrated that the sunflower makes excellent silage for sheep. President C, A, Zaring of the bar as- sociation of the fifth judicial district has called a meeting of the association to meet in Basin on February 14, Judge P. W.
