AN ORDINANCE providing for the issuance of the improvement bonds for improvements in Paying District No. 8 in the City of Casper, Wyoming, Payable out of funds derived from spe- cial assessments in said” improvement istric(, and for other matters relating to advertising, sale and issuance of donde, BB IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CASPER, WYOMING: Section 1. In the anticipation of the collection of special assessments for the improvement ‘of the streets. and por-; tions of streets in Paving District No. 8 in the City of Casper, Wyoming, and for the purpose of raising money for) epecial improvements, improvement bonds of the City. of Casper shall be ‘issued and sold to the amount of one hundred sixty-two thousand nine hun- dred eighty-three dollars and twelve cents ($162,982.12), or so much thereof | as shall be necessary for the payment | of the grading, construction of pave- ments and other improvement> inci dental to the paving of said Paving Dis- trict No. 8, which bonds shall be pay- able only out of the funds derived from special assessments for the improve- ments in Paving District No. 8 levied, assessed and collected in pursuance to law, and each of said bonds shall speci- fy the improvements for which said bonds are issued, and that sald bonds are payable out of the funds derived from special assessments. Section 2. That the said improve- ment bonds shal§ be signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk; shall be dated the Fifth day of March, #. D. 1920, and shall mature on or be- Tore ten (10) years from date as provid- eu 'by law. Said bonds shall be in the denomination of Five Hundred Dollars 4 0) each, except that one bond may be of such amount less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) as may be necessary to make.the issue correspond * with the total amount of the special assessments levied for such improve- ments. Sald bonds shall bear interest at the rate ,of six (6) per cent per annum, payable semi-annually on the Sth day of September and March of each year until paid, and for which in- terest the proper interest coupons, bear- ing the fac-simile signatures respective- ly of said Mayor and said City Clerk, shall be attached to and made a part of sald bonds. The princtpal and in- terest of said bonds shall be payable REY, the office of the City Treasurer of the City of Casper, Wyoming. Section 3.
