One mine operator in answer to an urgent call for coal in Casper by a local company said that Casper would get its proportion of coal but that it would not be enough. A company mining coal at Rock Springs has sent word to a Casper dealer that the request for egg or nut coal could not be filled because the rail- road company had taken the entire production. This company said there was no coal, to offer for commercial trie from this district. Another company writes a local coal company that the threatened strike has ed the roads to demand a ly increased tonnage A report from Dietz and Rock Springs coal m is that on punt of the strike it will be necessary to take all of the production of these mines.
