Clark was found guilt: of stealing parts of the motor car belonging to J. C. Colter; was fined $10 and costs and sentenced to two! hours in jail, the complaining wit- ness then paid the fine and costs for him, Clark admitted being party to the theft and testimony showed that | he had taken’ some paris from the! car when he had learned of the car being abandoned about a quarter of a mile from a main traveled road near here . FIREMAN LOSES - $40 IN RUN ON FALSE ALARM A false alarm Thursday night re- sulted in an extra run for the fire boys and lost $40 for one of the firemen on the way to the alarm. The alarm was turned in from Marion street when some passing pedestrian saw smoke hanging low on the roof of. one home. But there was no fire .
