Thrashing is progressing over central, eastern and northern! districts; some yields of wheat and, Tye are good, somegvery poor. Oats are generally poor. In the northern | part of the state much dense smoke| and cool nights were not favorable growing conditions for sugar beets, altho the crop is good.
