MONDAY, JULY 21, 1919. NOTICE AND CALL FOR BIDS. | | Notice is hereby given that bids | will be received for the construction | of water extensions consisting of a flow line from the pumping station to the reservoir of the City of Cas- per, Wyoming. | The work consists of laying 13,- 600 feet of fourteen inch (14-inch) | cast iron pipe, 1,200 feet of twelve’ inch (12-inch) cast iron pipe, also all, valves, hydrants, manholes and all appurtenances complete in place, in accordance with the plans and speci-' fications prepered by the City Engi-| neer of the City of Casper, Wyoming. The City of Casper will furnish all. pipe, fittings, valves, etc.; f. 0. b. cars Casper, Wyoming. All bids for said work shall be marked “Water Proposals” and ad- dressed to and filed with the City) Clerk of the City of Casper, Wyoming at his office in the City Hall and will) be received until eight (8) P. M. on| the 4th day of August, 1919. A certified check made peyable un- conditionally to the City of Casper, Wyoming, on a solvent local bank in} the sum of ten per cent (10%) of | the amount of the bid must be filed, with each bid, to be forfgited to the said City of Casper, yoming as liquidated damages if the bidder is awarded the contract and fails to) enter into a contract for such im-| provements with the said City of. Casper within five (5) days from the notification if he be the successful | bidder to perform the work and to furnish a bond in a sum equal to the amount or his bid, guaranteeing the faithful performance of the con- tract, said bond to be furnished at) the time of the signing of the con- tract.
