The county officials arrested him and action is to be taken this afternoon. Mr. Mohamed thought he had a right to sell on the carnival grounds, but would do as the sheriff said. Mr. Mohamed established his stand near Second and Center streets and aided by a few music makers drew a good size crowd. He admitted to the county authorities that business was good and that he would like to do business during the day up town. He would have to pay the $250 county fine required by law or stop working in the business section, said the authorities. $4,000 DIAMOND IS PICKED OFF HEAVY SLEEPER COKEVILLE, Wyo., July 9.—A traveling man, who represents a coin ‘punch board concern, was robbed of a $4000 diamond ring at Cokeville while sleeping in a chair in the lobby of a Cokeville hotel. A negro, known only as “Surg,” who had been in Cokeville only a few days prior to the robbery, is suspected, as he made his get-away that night. The travel- ing man, who has a hobby for diam- onds, carried several thousand del- lars’ worth with him and wore the valuable solitaire on his finger. He is reported to have imbibed freely and it was while in a stupor that he was robbed. The victim offered a reward of $500 for the recovery of the diam- ond. ee Pearl Long Valued as Jewel.
