570,000 GARAGE 5 PLANNED FOR MAKWELLAGENGY a=: | Present Facilities Swamped and New Home Js Contemplated to * Handle Increasing Volume “of Business Casper is to have a new $20,000! fire-proof garage within the next thir- ty days. George L. Craddock an- nounced the plans today for the new| garage which will be bujlt near the | present site of the Maxwell company, 167 South Ash street, and is to han-) die Maxwell and Chalmer motor cars. Four lots have been purchased for | $7,000, making a 100-foot front with a depth for the garage of 140 feet. The new building is to be a two- story brick structure and to be as near fire-proof as can be constructed. A basement will be used for dead storage. Architects are working on the plans for the building now and work is to start as soon as the plans are completed. Mr. Craddock said that the new garage would be up-to-date in all re- spects and that a full line of parts and equipment for Maxwell and Chal- mer cars would be carried. Mr. Craddock started selling Max-| of well cars two months ago and found! that his present facilities for hand- ling cars here had been outgrown and| & determined to build a new garage. He sold twenty-six cars in that pe- riod as well as two trucks. A car- load of one and a half ton Maxwell trucks is on the way to Casper to be delivered to the Richards oil field. His large business here resulted in the placing of Mr. Craddock on the list of preferred dealers in the state. The Denver office has given him; preference in order that the demand for 's might be supplied. Sam C. Clark is Mr. Co raged) k's partner. MIDWEST REFINERY MAY.
