~— = WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11. 1919 GRANDSTAND TO BE QUILT FOR SUNDAYS GAME Accommedations Doubled at Ball Park on Noise That Thermop- olis Is Coming with Train, Band and Big “Rell.” Grandstand accommodations will be doubled and other arrangements made for entertaining tne largest’ crowds ever attending a ball erme in! Casper upon the occasion of the re. turn game with the fast Thermopolis | club next Sunday. In addition to the, special train chartered by the Elks’! of the hot springs tawn, several hun- dred boosters are expected from the |* north and crowds from points west and east will materially swell the at-! tendance. Until last Sunday, when the Ther- mopolis siuggers went down to defeat before the Midwest nine, the former had maintained a clean record of vic-| tories for the season and their defeat came as a surprise to even some ares | in Casper. Thermopolis is said to be} recruiting another invincible nine as/ a result of this humiliating surprise, but this action occasions no anxiety here. The Midwest will enter the game sanguine of results, believing that the winning streak of the visitors has been broken effectively, and in this confidence they will back the locals to the limit. Material is being hauled to™ the athletic field for ancther section of grandstand as large as that in use and a big turnout is expected. The game) will be widely advertised in Lusk, Douglas, Riverton and Lander and be- cause of Thermopolis boasts of an in- vincible -aggregation, hundreds of fans from a distance will attend. The Eiks’ fete of Saturday night, at which Thermopolis will be enter- tained, will give color to week-end festivities and attract many lodge members from other points. —_——__—_ REAL ESTATE TRANSFERS George G.
