Ni ORDINANCE NO. 85.A. AN ORDINANCE CREATING PAV. ING DISTRICT NUMBER EIGHT, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAVEMENT FOR SAID STREETS IN SAID CITY OF CASPER IN STRUCTION INCIDENT TO THE PAVING OF SAID DISTRICT, AND APPORTIONING THE COST THEREOF UPON THE ABUT- TING PROPERTY IN SAID DIs- TRICT. WHEREAS, on the 25th day of April, A. D. 1919, there was passed by the City Council of the City of Casper, a resolution of intention to improve by grading, paving, con- strueting curbs, and draining, ‘and other incidental work on the follow- ing streets, to-wit: Seeond street from the east prop- erty line of David street west to the City limits, or the dividing line be- tween the Standard and Midwest re- fineries. Devid street from the south prop- erty line of Second street to the north property line of first street. First street from the east property line of David street to the west prop- erty line of Ash street. Ash street from the north prop- erty line of First street to the south property line of Second street. WHEREAS, remonstranees and ob- jections to said improvement have been filed with the Clerk of the City of Casper, in the manner and withir the time provided by law, and said resolution of intention, by the own- ers of less than half of the property included in the assessment district proposed to be created for the pur- pose of paying the cost of said pro- posed improvement, and WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Casper did, at the time and place aforesaid, duly eonsider said objections and remonstrances. and did thereupon overrule the same and decide to proeeed with said im- provement, NOW THEREFORE, BE IF OR- DAINED by the City Council of the City of Casper: jSection 1. Thal a paving and im- provement district to be known as Paving District Number 8 be, and is hereby, created within the City of Casper, State of Wyoming, which district is hereby formed for the pur- pose of improving by grading and paving, and other incidental con- struction, of the above described streets and property. Section 2. That all of those por- tions of said streets herein before set forth included in said Paving District Number 8, shal] be paved between the curb lines thereof in a good and sub- stantial manner with asphaltic con- crete, Topeka mixture, sheet asphalt, or bitulithic, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare planr and specifications for said grading and paving, as aforesaid, and submit such plans and ‘specifications -to,the City Council for approval. _Seetion 3. That the assessment district upon the property of which shall be assessed for the Purpose of paying costs and expenses of making said improvements within said Pav- ing District Number 8, which inelude all property, except streets and alley: included in ‘said assessment district between the termini of said improve. ment abutting upon said streets above set forth and deseribed and ineluded in said Paving District Number 8 within the following boundaries, to- wit: Beginning at a point on the east line of David street 100 feet north of the north line of Second street. Thence west across David street to a point on the west line of Davie street 111.26 feet north of the inter- section of the north property line of Second street and the west property line of David street. Thence southwest through Block 57 and paralleling the north property line of Second street to a point on the east property line of Spruce street 111.26 feet north of the north property line of Second street. Thence southwest across Spruce street to a point on the west property line of Spruce street 101.82 feet north of the north property line of Second street. Thence south 79 degrees 9 minuter west, 732.50 feet and paralleling the north property line of Second street to a point 101.82 feet north of the north property line of Second street.
