DEALERS FACE CAR SHORTAGE. THIS SEASON Heavy Demand for Automobiles in| Excess of Supply; Trucks are Sold at Rapid Rate for Field Transportation. An automobile shortage, which is, : shortage only because of the heavy demand for automobiles of dll makes | in Casper, is being faced by auto dealers in this vicinity. Garage men | and agents for all well known makes | of cars find it almost impossible to supply the demand that has been made for the vehicles. Carload after carload of cars have been unloaded in Casper within the past month, but nore of the dealers in Casper have cars left from their May consignments, and are now an- xiously awaiting the arrival of the June shipments in an effort to fill the orders. In every case dealers are taking their full factory allottment, and making premium bids on allott-| ments of other towns which have not fell in with the spring car demand yet. “Factories of all popular makes of rs are quickly falling into read- justments from war conditions and are turning out cars at an abnormal rate under present conditions: None of the factories however have been able to keep up with the heavy de- mands that are being made for pleasure and business vehicles. Trucks are in greater demand than ever before, and many trucking com- panics are availing themselves of the opportunty to supply needs that ex- could not be filled has also greatly isted during the war period and increased the demand for more and larger trucks. . Lusk is'the chief purchasing point for trucks in the state owing to the heavy development at Lance Creel.. Casper is maintaining its place tho in truck demand and is still the cen- ial distributing agency in this vi- cinity for all trucks that are plying between shipping points and the oil fields, “It is impossible to say when the automobile and truck business will adjust itself to the demands,” said} one dealer. “The only thing we can do is to place our orders and fill the demands a the cars are re.¢'ved,” To Miss I. The expert knows that the time to shoot is ut the end of the swing. In fact, anyone will arrive ultimately at the same conclusion, for litti thought will convince him that a tar get Is the more exsily hit when at 4 standstill, or at the end of a vibra tion, The moving target as a rule has th largest buH’s eye, and Is often one of the easiest to strike, if you happen to know how. Simply aim ‘at the point where th: center of the target stops and wait ti! it returns. Then, bing! Raven Not Extinct in England.
